Opening hours:

Helsinki Zine Fest is a part of Helsinki Comics Festival, and serves as a space for creators and readers of zines and for those interested in counterculture to come together. Zine Fest continues where “Small Press Heaven” of previous years left off.

Zines is a small-circulation, non-commercial self-publications, usually created by a single person or a small group. They can contain comics, text, pictures, poetry, or pretty much anything! The subculture of zines originates in the 70’s punk movement, and today offers a free platform for many people to experiment artistically.

Zine Fest will host amazing domestic and international creators to present and sell their self-publications. You can also take part in workshops and enjoy panels and other programming, focusing for example on the status of minority groups, and the field of independent comic artists.

Free admission!
