Emilia McKenzie (AKA Emix Regulus) has been making comics since 2009. Her work includes sci-fi/fantasy comics, dream comics, and autobiographical comics. Emilia’s first full-length graphic novel But You Have Friends, a memoir about friendship and loss, was published by Top Shelf Comix last year. The book was selected as one of New York Public Library’s best comics of 2023 and also won the title of Best Graphic Non-Fiction in the 2023 Broken Frontier Awards.
