Hanneriina Moisseinen (b. 1978), MA, is a comic artist with a background in visual arts. Moisseinen has published several comic books on original themes that are located at the intersection of personal and collective memory, such as Isä (“Father,” 2013) and Kannas (2016). Moisseinen has been awarded for her work with, among others, the State Award for Comics Art, the William Thuring Award and the Puupäähattu award. Moisseinen’s comics works have been translated into several different languages.
