Niko-Petteri Niva (b. 1991) is a comics artist from Oulu who has now settled in Tampere. Niva has published two comics albums with Tessa Astre and Aapo Kukko:Huojuva torni in 2021 and Uhma on Jumalasta in 2022. In 2023, Niva self-published the strip collection Hyvät värinät (“Good vibrations”). Niva’s style and stories are colored by northern alternative culture, queer joy, and political satire.
