Patrick Spät, born in 1982, lives in Berlin as a comic script writer. He studied philosophy, sociology, and history of literature. Together with comic artist Bea Davies, he published the comic Der König der Vagabunden. Together with comic artist Sheree Domingo, he published the comic Madame Choi und die Monster which was awarded the 2022 Comic Book Prize of Berthold Leibinger Stiftung. He loves things that start with a “c”: cats, cheese, coffee and cigarettes, and obviously comics.
