Tiitu Takalo is a comic artist, illustrator, visual artist and feminist from Tampere. Takalo’s latest work Polkimilla – Nyt, ennen ja tulevaisuudessa has been created in collaboration with Tiina Männistö-Funk, who is an academic researcher and docent in the history of technology. The comic discusses the change in status and the possibilities of cycling in an urban environment and the importance of cycling, enriched with personal experiences.
