Dave McKean has illustrated and designed nearly ninety award winning and ground breaking books and graphic novels, including the solo works Cages, two Pictures That Tick volumes of short stories, and Black Dog: The Dreams of Paul Nash, and the collaborative works The Magic of Reality (Richard Dawkins), Arkham Asylum (Grant Morrison), and Night Shift (Stephen King). McKean has directed five short films and three feature films: MirrorMask, Luna, and The Gospel of Us.
McKean’s first solo exhibition in Finland is organised in cooperation with MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre at the Cable Factory. The exhibition features short films, comics, illustrations, and original drawings.
