Apila tattoos small comics-style tattoos at the festival. Each tattoo costs approximately 120-200 €. Choose a picture from the ready-made flash models drawn by Apila. Get there on time and put your name on the list for a tattoo!
Apila Pepita (b.1991, Siilinjärvi) is a tattoo artist, illustrator and comics artist from Helsinki. Apila has been tattooing since 2020 and currently works at Studio Hellä in Katajanokka, Helsinki. Apila has studied graphic design at Aalto University. They have been making comics professionally for ten years. Recently, in addition to tattoos and comics, they have focused on illustrating books. The most recent productions include the Kuuilma children’s book series, the newest and third volume of which, Myrtti ja nuuskiva kinuski, will be published in August 2023.
