In the Handicap in the Kitchen performance workshop, a surprising dish is collaboratively prepared using hand signals and other subtle cues. Participants will find out what it is before long, as they will eat it at the end of the workshop. The workshop welcomes active participants—up to 12 at the table—but spectators are also welcome.
Kati Rapia is a comic artist and visual artist from Loviisa. Her latest comic book, Käsi keittiössä 2 – Oops I Might Have Done It Again, was published in 2024, featuring a main character who has partially transformed into a three-dimensional, cooking mime.
