As examples, Koskela presents an ongoing medieval story as well as previously completed graphic novels set during the witch hunts of the 1600s and the Crimean War of the 1850s.

Ilpo Koskela is a comics artist, illustrator, and graphic designer who has published ten comics and three instructional books on comic creation. He also has a long career in commercial comics used for publicity and marketing. Koskela’s comics have been translated into eleven languages, including Albanian and Tamazight of Algeria.
