Katja Tukiainen (born 1969, Pori) is a visual artist, painter, and comics artist. She gained fame in the 1990s for her comics and pink girl paintings. Her works draw inspiration from art history as well as autobiographical and fictional stories. Tukiainen holds master’s degrees from the Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Art and Design, and a doctorate in visual arts from the Academy of Fine Arts.

Matti Hagelberg was born after the mid-20th-century in Kirkkonummi. He has been working as a comics artist since 1992. He lives and works in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
