Tommi Musturi (born 1975) is a comics and visual artist from Juupajoki. His comic works have been translated into nine different languages in addition to Finnish and published in numerous publications across Europe, North America, and South America. Musturi’s comics are often wordless and seemingly eventless. He utilises symbolism to explore existential questions: the individual, loneliness, nature, and freedom. Some of Musturi’s most well-known works include The Book of Hope, the Samuel comics, and, most recently, the graphic novel Future. He lives in Siuro and is part of the contemporary comics association Kutikuti, as well as running a diverse bookstore called Stuff.
