Known from the Sarjismiehet podcast, Vesa Vitikainen writes adventure comics series and is the editor-in-chief of the sci-fi comic magazine Kevyt Metalli. This magazine is the only Finnish comics publication focusing on science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Vitikainen has authored several comics based on real events, including biographies of Lauri Törni, Simo Häyhä, Marokon kauhu (the Moroccan Horror), and Reino Lehväslaiho. He is also the father of Sergeant Napalm, Finland’s toughest American superhero. Additionally, Vitikainen organises the sci-fi and comics event Poriconi.
