Lauri Pitkänen is a visual arts teacher, artist, sculptor, and puppet maker from Porvoo. Throughout his career, he has also worked as a science educator and pedagogical designer. Comics have been a beloved art form for him since childhood. Some childhood favorites include the Valérian, agent spatio-temporel series and Edgar Rice Burroughs. Pitkänen’s favorite hobbies include drawing, observing nature, exercising, and fencing.
