Helsinki Comics Festival needs volunteers: Come join us!
Helsinki Comics Festival takes place in Cable Factory in September. There are a wide variety of tasks for all helpful hands. e.g. press and writing content for the festival website and social media, exhibition construction, building the festival venue and assisting at the event’s information desk. You can get involved in the making of festival already at the pre-production stage in the spring. There are a lot of tasks on offer according to the volunteers’ individual skills and interests!
The festival will provide all volunteers a festival T-shirt designed by the festival artist, product prizes and other complimentary items. Above all else, you get to join the best festival crew possible.

Are you interested in a longer-term volunteer or internship at the Helsinki Comics Festival?
We are looking for an intern to join the festival team to participate in the festival production from April to October. The main responsibility of the position is to act as a volunteer coordinator. For the task you will receive comprehensive orientation and support from the rest of the production team.
During the spring, the working hours are flexible and can be adjusted to your schedule. In the autumn, the position requires a weekly commitment. The volunteer coordinator will participate in the entire festival week from 14 to 21 September, including the construction of the festival.
