Keski-Suomen Sarjakuvaseura KESS (Central Finland Comics Society KESS) has been operating since 2010 and has been a registered association since 2017. Its core activity is organising weekly meetings where those interested in making and reading comics gather for informal discussion and creation. The society also publishes comics anthologies and organises exhibitions and events, such as the annual 24-hour comics marathon.

Yhdessä is KESS’s ninth anthology publication, released in late 2025. For the first time, open calls were used to invite external creators to contribute. The Yhdessä album contains 12 comics exploring various forms of togetherness, from shared experiences and friendships to romantic and family relationships. It is the society’s biggest publication to date.
