Kai Vaalio is an illustrator, comics artist, author, and graphic designer. The Isämies series he illustrated has sold approximately 300,000 copies in various formats. The Lokkimies and Wonderpöllö series is his first original children’s comic series. Vaalio is currently working on the third part of the series.

In the Lokkimies and Wonderpöllö series, the main characters find themselves in different everyday and family-related situations, but there is always a supernatural element involved. Each book features four hilarious and wild stories, with the common message being that it’s okay to be a little quirky.
